Who is HKLIVING?

Founded in 2008, HKLIVING was born out of a love of vintage and unique interiors by Emiel Hetsen and Sander Klaver. 

From initially creating a collection of 28 products, their brand has grown into a worldwide recognisable organisation. Each collection they produce is true to them as a brand but still continues to push the boundaries and searches for the extraordinary. Thoroughly inspired by 70’s vintage, they successfully find the balance between the modern and the retro design. 

Why HKLIVING?

HKLIVING is a brand we have wanted to work with ever since opening up Essence Home. Through our ethos of working with sustainable brands, we love the story of re-telling vintage tales through homeware. HKLIVING creates products to last, they are well designed ceramics, textiles and home furnishings. We love this about them. As well as the fact they are just gorgeous pieces. 

When should we expect HKLIVING?

HKLIVING is on their way and should be arriving in April 2025. So very very soon! With our new shop just opened in Lock29 in Banbury, we are ecstatic to get them displayed on the shelves as well as launch on our online store. A huge ethos of HKLIVING is their creativity, and we definitely resonate with that here at Essence Home. Every piece we choose has fun and excitement attached to it, so when you buy you feel that warm buzz, the same we feel when we get to be creative with our pieces.
